AnonymousAnonymousI & my family fully support the efforts of the Northwestern High Schoool Environmental Action Club to establish a yearly goal for waste reduction & a uniform recycling system. My family's expectations are that Northwestern High School in Hyattsville Maryland become a model for the state of Maryland for all public, private schools & institutions for a single stream recycling facility! We applaude the efforts of commited students, faucilty & staff to think GLOBALLY but to ACT LOCALLY! Thank you for oppotunity to make our community a better place to live & learn!

Rumi Matsuyamarumipumi@gmail.comHow can we teach our kids to save the planet when we don't even give them the opportunity to recycle their lunch waste! This is a no-brainer! Parent, University Park Elementary School
Lawrence Paulsonlpaulson@earthlink.netThis is an educational issue. The schools must set an example. Recycle!
Ellen Klimanellenkliman@mindspring.comI'm a new parent in Hyattsville who will be taking things like recycling in the schools into consideration when it is time to decide where my kid will be educated. How can we preach to them about recycling when we don't ask the to do it at school?
Shana Fulcherfulcher@gmail.comPlease get the schools recycling as soon as possible. I have always been impressed by the PG recycling facility and hate to think that our own school system isn't using it.

Cynthia Waycynthiaxyz@att.netI would like to see recycling in ALL PG Public Schools. My daughter is in Hyattsville Elementary. It was a sad joke that on Earth Day they had a container for recycling, but none any other day of the week.
