We are concerned with the proposal that Steel City Martial Arts presented to the officers of the Panther Grappling Club.  We find it to be fundamentally unfair for the students who are members of the club. It is against normal SORC policy to request funds for clubs to obtain regular class instruction from the University. Furthermore Steel City Martial Arts proposal charges $2000/semester for instruction. Even if we were able to fund this, we would effectively kill any seminars, tournaments and other third party events as we wouldn't be able to afford funds for them. Finally, we are already a Balance affiliate. We don't want to become a Steel City satellite school. We do not want the President of the club to accept the current offer.
