This is a petition to disallow inappropriate horror commercials from airing at the same time as children TV shows or G rates movies. Although it is the parents responsibility to monitor what TV shows and movies children watch on television, it is beyond a parents control as to what types of content will air during commercials. This mixture of adult content (let's say PG - R rating, which is being generous) sends parents running for the television and typically induces nightmares in young children. It is not fair that a parent cannot choose what type of content their children will be exposed to when selecting programming. TV stations need to get the message it is not ok to run PG or R rated commercials during G rated programming. Let's all agree to give TV stations until March 1st to remove these inappropriate commercials, otherwise turn off the TV's for good.
