I propose that an asterisk be added to all of Peyton Manning's NFL records due to the fact that he played ten seasons in a division with three other expansion teams.

There is no doubt in my mind that he would not hold a fraction of the records that he does if he had not been moved to an all expansion team division in the fifth season of his career, and played in that division for ten years.

There are numerous quarterbacks that would have stellar records if given the opportunities that Peyton had. Case in point: 2009 season, week 5, Super Bowl champion Steelers go to Detroit, that's right, the team that finished the 2008 season 0-16. Did Peyton Manning and the Colts play Pittsburgh that season? NOPE. What a stroke of luck, huh?

This guys career is littered with stepping stones laid down by someone and it's time the world acknowledges it.
