Petzl - Can you keep supplying picks for the pre 2010/11 Quarks for 3 more years

Dear Petzl,
Many of us love your gear, including the pre 2010 Quarks that we have, which still have significant life left in them, apart from needing replacement picks. As customers, whilst we understand the pressures at your end, we feel devalued, some might even say cheated (especially as axes still being sold), at what seems like pressure to buy new axes, rather than replacement picks, even though they have much life left in them, as well as concerned at the environmental impact of disposing of serviceable axes, while they still have life left in them. Can you give us at least another few runs of picks/3 years, before finally discontinuing ?
