Petition to the OMB Regarding the Development of Land Located at 501 Lakeshore rd. E.

Whereas the development proposed by Trinity Development at 501 Lakeshore Road East, including a Big Box store, will have an adverse effect on; the economic viability of the existing small businesses in the area; the traffic congestion on local roads; the character of the community; a variety of environmental concerns; and


Whereas the City of Mississauga zoning plan is currently being developed,


Therefore we the undersigned oppose to the proposed development by Trinity Development at 501 Lakeshore Road East in its current form and at the present time.

    2 years ago Comments: This development is inappropriate for the area. It will dramatically increase traffic in an already busy residential area. In addition, it will have a detrimental effect on the established small businesses in the area as well as the small businesses which have recently opened. I am not opposed to development if it is thoughtful & done in consultation with those affected.
