AFSCME 3299 represents over 22,000 service and patient-care workers across UC's 10 campuses, taking care of 200,000 students and more than 4 million patients. AFSCME 3299 intends to strike on November 20th, 2013 over the Illegal intimidation, coercion, and threats against UC Patient Care and Service Workers who participated in a two-day walkout in May 2013 over unsafe staffing levels at UC supported hospitals.
