One of the proposed changes for the upcoming early fall archery season is to make that season antlerless only.   

As a bowhunter in New Jersey, I am against the change in early fall archery season NOT allowing me to harvest a buck after I have harvested my required antlerless deer. I will no longer participate in the early archery season due to this change.  

The main reason a bowhunter endures 90+ degree temperatures is for a chance to harvest a buck that is on his summer pattern or even a velvet buck after they harvest a doe. If you take that away bowhunters will do other activities until fall bow season opens then they will harvest a buck without ever shooting a doe. 

We ask you to drop this change and leave earn a buck in place for the early season.
