Name: Ed Fry on Feb 19, 2013Comments: MOTD was, and always will be my favourite show on BBC. Shame it is in decline. There must be pundits that can actually analyse football, because this oversimplified repetitive analysis that I keep on hearing belongs more in a pub. Gary Neville could teach your boys all about football, without giving half the over opinionated nonsense such as with 'the de gea situatoin' at man united, or the 'is bale as good as ronaldo after 1 season on form' nonsense. Seriously, just analyse the football properly and you will see happier viewers, because we all understand the game and don't need it watered down, despite how stupid you may assume the average fan to be. Thanks for reading this.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 19, 2013Comments: Credit to Poxbo on Redcafe.net MOTD clearly needs a re-vamp. The intelligence and clarity of the punditry has fallen way behind the likes of Gary Neville and Graeme Souness on Sky. This is the opinion of at lot of football fans in the UK, sort it out please.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 19, 2013Comments: The punditry on MOTD is abysmal, and has a lot to learn from the likes of Gary Neville and Andy Townsend. Coverage of matches is generally far too short. Some of the commentators are below-par, and John Motson should have been dropped years ago.Flag

Name: Alan Crotty on Feb 19, 2013Comments: Binning Lee Dixon, the one decent pundit on the show, to keep Alan "Telling you what your eyes can see" Shearer, Mark "painfully smug and lazy" Lawrenson and Alan Hansen was truly the death knell of MOTD in terms of being a football show with credible match analysis. It is, at best, a Sky + and then fast forward through the "punditry" bits and pieces show these days.Flag

Name: Dean Armstrong on Feb 20, 2013Comments: Basically the punditry is really dull. The combo of Lawrenson and Sheerer really plumbs the darkest depths of dullness. MOTD2 with Chapman and two modern footballers like Jason Roberts and Dion Dublin is miles better. Why can't you just make MOTD more like MOTD2?Flag
