Name: Dr. Judy Chen on Jan 13, 2013Comments: The 4 tests are definitely not met and as a GP and a commissioner I am horrified at the thought of this recommendation from the TSA going through. It will impact negatively on my patient population and the whole of Lewisham, adversely affect vulnerable populations, increase health inequalities and is a risky option. It will demoralise GPs and ultimately increase costs as GPs will no longer engage in local commissioning. The shadow CCG in Lewisham has been very successful but this decision will undermine local decisions and disengage GPs. This decision sends out all the wrong messages - rewarding poor performance and penalising excellence. What is the point of trying at all!Which borough do you practise in?: LewishamFlag

The current financial position of SLHT is as a result of government decisions to use PFI. The hospital always served the community well being a beacon of c=excellence in caring for its community. I was a patient there, well cared for and inspired to go on and train to be a Doctor myself.
