This is a petition to have Mr. Mike Mikos removed as the bus driver for route 107.

It is apparent by his actions on numerous occasions that Mr. Mikos does not have the patience or ability to be deal with children.  This endangers the safety and well being of our children who rely on this bus to get to and from school everyday. 

While it is known by us parents that no child is perfect and they will on occasion do things that may require some form of punishment, Mr. Mikos has taken it into his own hands to be judge and jury routinely with typically little to no proof, and on occasion over exaggeration of the offense. It is also known that he is selective in what he does and doesn't see occur on the bus and who he chooses to write up for what offense. 

In a most recent incident a parent approached the bus to inform him that a boy had hit her 2nd grade little girl in the face.  His response was that he didn't see it so he couldn't do anything about it and then proceeded to close the parent (who was holding an 8 months old baby) in the doors of the bus and attempted to drive off with them trapped in the doors.

Grievances have been made to both the Wills Point ISD bus barn Supervisor and the Operations Manger with little to no answers or reconciliation.  Most times we are just told "that's just the way it is." 

The parents who have signed this position are in agreeance that Mr. Mikos should be removed as the driver from this bus route ASAP for the safety and well being of the children.
