Name: Kevin A Edwards on Jan 19, 2013Comments: What a great way to remember a man who loved California and showed us so much about what is here. I watched him in the 80's and 90's and will miss him. I personally think a smaller statue would be more fitting-- he was a modest man and would be so amazed and say "Oh, my gosh!" Good luck, hope this comes true.Flag

Name: Rebecca Sarah Riley on Feb 10, 2013Comments: Huell Howser loved California and California loved him. He was a man of the people. All over this great state he befriended Californians of all walks of life. His exploration of California helped us see the beauty in our own state by exposing us to gardens, parks, historical sites, restaurants, mom and pop shops and many other charming corners of California that without him we would never have known existed. He helped define what it means to be a Californian, connecting all corners of the state to each other and to our collected history. He deserves to be remembered and honored in California with this proposed memorial statue, a man who knew this state and treasured this state more than almost any other person to ever step foot on our golden shores.Flag
