Comments: Please put a statue of Huell Howser in Griffith Park. It is a fitting tribute to a much-beloved man in a locale he enjoyed. It will bring a smile to all who enjoyed his broadcasts--which are MANY.

Comments: Huell Howser contributed more in good public relations to the State of California than anyone else I am aware of. His passion for the obscure brought to light many interesting facets of the Golden State which might have been lost in history and his love of the history of California gave his viewers the vicarious experience of "being there". I'm sure he truly loved what he did, but, then, so did his viewers. His fervor, candor, passion and willingness to pursue those interesting adventures will surely be missed. A statue, as a memorial to Huell, wouid be an "amazing" but fitting tribute to a man who has educated so many about the good things to be found in the state of California and the rich history we all share..
