Comments: Treatment works and reducing the funding allotted for treatment is to insure an increase in all negative aspects of society by limitting treatment funds.

Comments: Surely, by this time, the executive and legislative branches of our state government must know that drug abuse treatment saves lives AND money. Now it's time to show they understand and to act in accordance with that knowledge.

Comments: This decision by the s State is financially unsound, not treating people with alcohol and drug problems only shifts an increased expense and burden unto our legal and medical system. There is an "epidemic" of drug use in this State, by decreasing treatment funding it will only worsen.

Comments: having access is just the beginning of recovery. Not having access is not much recovery. Insurance doesn't like to pay for services either, so ODADAS is crucial access.

Comments: By cutting funds for alcohol and drug treatment thousands of people will be denied services and many could end up in our prisions which would cost the state thousands of dollars more than treatment would. Addiction is a disease that is treatable. Please remember that treatment WORKS and people do recover.
