Stress is our perceptions and interpretations of the way our body responds to demands placed upon us by the environment. In the case of SRS, the environment is school and home. SRS can be caused by a number of different factors, including: Over-scheduling (when a student’s life becomes overwhelmingly busy, with longer working hours, shorter of skipped breaks, excessive amounts of homework and too many extra-curricular activities); Homework ( if the amount of homework a student is receiving is impractical, with not enough time to complete it in); exams; class tests ( if students are given inadequate time to prepare, or the timing for end of topic tests for a number of subjects is close together); competition between peers. The objective of this petition is to help raise awareness of, and combat SRS.
