Petition Supporting Mobile Food Vendors Use of Public Land

In Fayette County, food trucks (classified as mobile food vendors) are only allowed to use public land to sell food during permitted special events. Other businesses use property to sell and receive everything from food and and flowers to office supplies and alcohol. We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to allow mobile food vendors equal protection under the 14th Amendment to operate on public land free of unfair regulations.

Discussion

  • Erin Domsher Allow food trucks

  • Skip White Economic growth means Lexington has to keep up with the culture. Everything these days is "how we want it, when we want it". Quality Mobile food vendors serve that need.

  • Kayla Bohanan I support the Food Trucks being allowed anytime
