In Fayette County, food trucks (classified as mobile food vendors) are only allowed to use public land to sell food during permitted special events. Other businesses use property to sell and receive everything from food and and flowers to office supplies and alcohol. We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to allow mobile food vendors equal protection under the 14th Amendment to operate on public land free of unfair regulations.
