Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the National Football League, has repeatedly proved he is unfit to hold this position. After the latest controversy involving New York Giants kicker Josh Brown, it is time for Goodell to step down. He is more concerned with policing harmless touchdown celebrations, players' cleats, and drug use than domestic violence. Josh Brown has admitted to physically, emotionally, and verbally abusing his wife Molly. He also said, "I viewed myself as God basically and she was my slave". He received a measly one-game suspension from the NFL in August. Meanwhile, other players are serving 4-game and 16-suspension due to failed drug tests for marijuana. The NFL deserves a commissioner who is more concerned with the pressing issue of domestic violence and less concerned with wide receivers dancing in the endzone.
