Our children deserve to be seen, heard and their gifts developed. There are many teachers who can teach, who actually love their job. That is who should be teaching our children and that is who we want at our school. If you are a teacher who can't by choice, disability,inability,unwillingness, or otherwise teach our children then you should not be teaching. If and when teachers are given the curriculum, extra help and training by staff and parents and they can't get it, that teacher needs to find a new career, when they can't cut it. They should not be rewarded by being moved to another grade lower or higher. Guess what, all the damage they left behind just moved to parents, teachers, staff and volunteers. It is not good when well over 60% of the classes of those teachers that had those students struggle to read and have behavior issues. 

It is appalling that the union would continue to back such reckless behavior. If you don't want to teach don't, sub out the whole year. These CHILDREN are precious to us they are no longer yours to damage by choosing not to properly educate, test or respect them. They are people and are charged in our care. So as of this moment you are properly dismissed. May you have peace on you journey.
