- OnJuly 2nd 2015, the educational commission for foreign medical graduates or ECFMG, which is responsible for verification of credentials related to medical education, training, and licensure, announced that this commission is no longer accepting application fromCUBAN physicians.
We know this happened with our Iranian colleagues and the issue was solved. We strongly condemn this unfair and utterly discriminatory policy which is a clear example of national origin discrimination.
We demand immediate revision of these policies and restoration of normal services toCuban applicants just like any other applicant from anywhere else in the world.

Tenemos el derecho de revalidar despues que nos otorgaron la visa bajo el programa de parole para los medicos cubanos. Es injusto e inhumano frenar el futuro de miles de profesionales que dejaron atras a la familia y muchas cosas mas por querer tener una vida mejor.

I am not Cuban, I studied in cuba, i completed all my steps and was told today that mt certificate will not be mailed to me. I called the department of treasury and they said they know nothing about it. I dont understand any of this. I am so sad.
I am a foreign physician , already pass 2 step waiting for usmle cs, now I going to take the exam and my result will be retain all my credentials are already verified, but for some reason it is not enough, it is because I'm cuban , so I'm less than others.
That's no fear. We have spent a lot of our time studying hardly. It's been a big sacrifice for our families. We have also invested a lot of money. It's just our civil right in this country, where we emigrated looking for the real freedom. We all hope a revocation!!!!

Gracias por esta oportunidad de poder exponer nuestra situacion pues no solo se ha detenido cualquier tramite o aplicacion para examenes sino incluso la entrega del resultado de un examen como mi caso que hice el CK y no se me ha entregado.
