To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing in response to the email that requested information for my financial aid and reasons I am pursuing a second degree.

Question one:

If you have completed an Associate in Arts and Sciences or Associate of Science degree, please explain why you have not transferred to a four-year college or university to complete a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

Answer:

                I have not completed, but have started the requirements for the Associates in Arts. I have nearly completed my degree in Digital Design but I had to complete many pre college level classes in order to continue to completion.

Question two:

If you have completed a professional/technical degree or certificate, please explain why you are not employed in that field of study.

Answer:

                I have nearly completed my degree in Digital Design, but I have had to complete many pre -college level classes in order to continue to completion.  I re-tested the compass test to see if I could test out of some of the courses and was successful in the English section.  I have three classes to complete this degree two of which I am enrolled in for the summer quarter and am happy to report that I am doing above average in both at a 96% average. I have been seeking employment but with the flooded workforce in this particular job I found that if I perused a second degree it would give me a more competitive edge.  I feel that I would not be middle line and passed over for a position, but rise to the top of the stack and am hired. 

Question three:

                Please explain why you need to complete an additional degree or certificate program.

Answer:

                First of all, an Associate in Arts degree accompanied with a Digital Design Degree will give me a more competitive edge in the design world. I have been searching for employment in the field I have been studying and have found It is completely flooded with new graduates and persons that have many years of experience already. I believe that earning my Associate in Arts degree will give me the added credentials to my resume that may help it rise to the top of the stack. I want to be fully employable and very desirable when prospective employers look at me on paper.
