Firemen as you will be aware are yet another public service faceing cuts as now the Goverment are trying to cut costs reducing the workforce of our Firemen, yes this is true although it sounds unreal the fact remains that Firemen are facing the axe which is caused by the Goverments cuts when cuts could be made in other areas like stop wasting money taking cuts from Chef Executives who earn huge sums of money like here in the North East where they provide no services to the Vulnerable Adults who need help, Disabled People who recieve no support but the Government can give North Tyngde 3.3 Million to spend on wheely bins This Petiton focuses on our Firemen Help to save or Firemen by Anton Carpena I call on everyone in the United Kingdom to support our Firemen, who face job cuts and job lossess when Firemen play a vital roll in society who show great courage in there duty who are willing to risk their lives in order to save the lives of other people. Its hard to belived this Govenment is prepared to cut costs through the Fire Service when vast ammounts of money is being wasted fighting wars in other countries. Or to pay out rediculous ammounts of money to the many Chef Executives who earn far to much and this is where I believe cuts could be made As an example I will use the former Chief Executive Barry Rowland who earned more than the Prime Minister at £165,0000 a year which is rediculous sum he was paid to help the area until a shock departure However in his shock departure he was handed a sum of £200,0000 but I ask for what ? Only answer I could think of is called a backhand which can also be looked upon as a form of corruption and the later is more than likey to be the case in all reality. Yet Firemen take the brunt of Government Cuts that could be saved in other areas I find it deeply shocking to be honest and this is a matter of public concern so I call upon everyone of us to support our Firemen from this Governmenrt, who plan to cut costs by reducing the number of Firemen in work and reduce there wages. I have been in a house fire before on 31 Dec 2000 when the whole upstairs became a rageing fireball with four children upstairs in there beds at 79 Wilton Avenue in Walker I told my partner to get out the house as i wrapped a coat around-the-clock my head and ran in to the flames shouting Becky, Charley Quick get up and run down stairs quickly to see mumy as I went in to the bathroom where the fire had stated to run the bath As i kept shouting to the eldest two children Becky aged 8 and Charley aged 4, I ran in to get the twins and as I was going down staires I saw Becky infront of me I then gave Justine the Twins but realised Charley was missing so I ran back in to the flames shouting Charley, Charley the whole upstars was on fire as i opened Charleys door she was städning behind it terrefied I just picked her up and carried her down the staires to her mum It was to late to call 999 I ran back on to the flames putting anything i could find into the bath then used then to through över the core of the fire and carried on for 15 min in which i had put out the fire to save the house burning down. I will never forget that fire in which i saved four childrens lives
