Comments: They need more sleep after staying up late at night preparing for the next day. The demands of extracurricular activities, voluntary or otherwise, is time-consuming after school and and extra half hour in the morning would help all greatly.

Comments: Public schools have a later start in high school so why shouldn't masters? It makes a huge difference across the board for our kids!

Comments: We think that sleep is one of the single most important factors in our daughter's health, well being and brain power. We encourage you to reconsider this later start time for the good of all the young people at Masters.

Comments: I agree with a later start but I wish we could have debated where the time would be taken from. I would have preferred it taken from morning meeting, morning break and only as a last resort, teaching time.

Comments: We believe in the later start of the school day for all of the reasons that the administration originally listed. The parents of middle school children who were against the idea might appreciate these reasons more when their children are in high school

Comments: As a health care professional, and mother of Seven, I do believe that adequate sleep and time for a proper breakfast is critical for optimum health. Teens growth velocity is at a rate that is equivalent to the first year of life. Most teens arent getting enough sleep. They require an average of ten hours .

Comments: Enough sleep seems to be a thing too elusive to catch at this age therefore I support the later start.
