Name: Cynthia Anderson And Martin Saltzman on Jan 17, 2013Comments: We truly felt that the very few against this proposal were served because of their hysterical, alarmist attitude. In our opinion this overwhelmed the well reasoned research that supported the original proposal favored by a broad majority. We felt our voices were not heard and dismissed due to the vocal few who overwhelmed and dominated the "public forums." We hope the decision will be revisited and considered appropriately.Flag

Name: Mary Rasenberger on Jan 17, 2013Comments: I was so impressed when the proposal was made for a later start. Lack of sleep is the biggest issue for my kids. I was disappointed when the proposal was dropped. 5 minutes less per class will only make the kids more focused in the time they have.Flag

Name: Zipporah Olowo-Rwakibale And Paul Rwakibale on Jan 17, 2013Comments: We do support the 8:35 start because our daugher will be better rested and more alert. It is very difficult for her right now as she has to wake up very early, after sometimes late sleep due to previous nights homework exercises. Half an hour will help her be in a much better state of mind to tackle the days work. She is much more alert in the later hours of the day than the early hours. ThanksFlag

Name: TRAVIS EPES on Jan 17, 2013Comments: I wholeheartedly support the proposal to start the school day at 8:35am and was very disappointed to learn of the School's reversal of its original position in the face of what appeared to be a vocal minority of parents, most of whom live very near to the school.Flag
