We the undersigned are writing to you to express our support for Steve Bunn and communicate our unhappiness at his transfer to the Kensington campus.

There are currently 236 names that have been added to this petition. Whilst we acknowledge that we don't have the licence to interfere with individual staffing matters we do feel that there is space to speak on behalf of our positive experiences with a member of staff and the benefit that they have had to our practices as artists.

There is a strong feeling amongst us that this action is unfairly abrupt and offers little transition and support for first year students currently preparing for their Work in Progress show and that there will be a lack of project experience for the end of year degree show.

We would appreciate if you would take a look at the online comments (by clicking the 'Join the discussion / Show more replies), there is an overwhelming response from students asking for him to remain in Sculpture.

Steve is an important member of staff to us and he is known for his dedication to students, the programme and school. Furthermore, Steve has invested a significant amount of his own time into supporting students in their work and time at the college.

We would like to ask that Steve Bunn's transfer is reconsidered and that attempts are made to mediate his return.
