Parks Canada started a contest where schools could make a video in hopes to get the most votes online to get a trip to Baniff national park. About sixty schools entered videos and voting was set up so one machine on one modem could vote once per day for a video without registering. This voting system occurred for about a week and a school from Nain was in the lead. Parks Canada during this contest changed the rules so people had to register and they could only vote once. They also proceeded to delete all the votes that the school had gotten from days of painstaking work - about 5000. Now this contest is more about population size than passion as a school from Vancouver can obviously get more votes than a school from such a small place. We need to show Parks Canada that this decision is unfair.
