Name: Sue Shipman on Jan 31, 2013Comments: I object to my taxes going toward aiding casinos. Especially when it means the exit will destroy anyone's home. No one should lose their home to support gambling and I shouldn't have to pay taxes to support gambling either.Flag

Comments: I oppose Plan 21-B alternate for state project #H.010151.2 and federal project #H.010151 due to budget constraints already placed on the State. I also oppose this because our neighborhoods should not be subject to casino 24 hour traffic, criminal acts, relocating households, and the devaluation of property. Please consider your Citizens FIRST before giant Corporations.Flag -

Name: Jane Vassar on Feb 2, 2013Comments: This project fiscally irresponsible when the state of LA can't afford to maintain the roads, highways and bridges we already have! "Non-structural" concrete falling from the 210 bridge 1/4 mile from the site of this project? Give me a break! Who puts non-structural concrete on a bridge? Especially in southwest LA!Flag

Name: Jacqueline Hightower on Feb 7, 2013Comments: This state project is a travesty and insult to the citizens of the affected area, their homes, their investment in property. It is an insult to the elderly, namely, my Aunt in her 80's who still works and will be recompensed with a pittance of money by the state for her land and home...ALL FOR THE CASINO! It is an insult to my integrity that the state will have to pay over 30 million dollars for the sole benefit of the CASINO when the state does NOT have the money. The state is cutting medical, educational etc. services to its citizens with the CASINO only forking over 17 million dollars. This is all with very little publicity. We are tired of politicians and their secret dealings in this state to line their own pockets and build their egos. ENOUGH! Jacqueline HightowerFlag
