If people could not so easily sell their puppies to pet shops and through newspaper ads, they will think twice before allowing their pet to have litters. So long as there is profit in puppies then people will breed and breed. This bill is not the entire solution, but is a big step. |
| 1056 | Anonymous | We as a modern society cannot condone these puppy mills selling to pet shops. People are buying on impulse and then find their pet who they have paid exorbitant prices for have health problems. These dogs are usually found dumped in a local pound before the age of 12 months.

We have to clear up this mess and it is our money and heartache that is used up in order to support this terrible industry. Have a proper investigation that shows what is really happening and have some real regulation with teeth. It is a disgrace. |
