The petition

We, the undersigned are requesting the release of Alfred Perkoviq (23) and Kastrijot Perkoviq (21), after being incarcerated for their mandatory 90 day stay for being illegal immigrants from the broken country of Kosovo. These two young men should not be held in a jail while they are pending deportation to a country they know nothing about and therefore they are being punished for actions taken when they were minors. We request the two are given the opportunity to take responsibility as young adults with support from their family, friends and community.

Petition sponsor

The sponsor is Megan Perkoviq (21), an American born citizen who is the wife of Alfred Perkoviq. Megan wants to raise awareness that immigrants who have entered as minors (in their case they were six months and three years old), are being tossed around in the loop holes of the current confusing immigration laws. Also, that her family is requesting support from the community in doing so.
