We, the residents of Los Angeles, Petition Allenco Oil Company, Southern California Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, to permanently shut down Allenco.’s oil and gas production plant located at 814 W 23rd Street. Los Angeles, CA 90007

The emissions from Allenco. contaminate our community and are deteriorating the health of University Park neighbors. Residents, many of whom are children, students, and low-income families, have filed over 340 odor complaints and suffer from health issues symptomatic of chronic exposure to hydrocarbons, such as nosebleeds, asthma, chronic fatigue, headaches, and eye & throat irritation among others.

We stand with concerned citizens in opposition to the oil and gas production of Allenco. and demand Allenco., SCAQMD, and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, to protect the sanity and health of its South Los Angeles residents and permanently close production of Allenco oil Company.
