Comments: It is appropriate to consider location of a Fresh Market within areas currently zoned commercial instead of trying to change what is currently zoned residential to commercial when there is already adequate commercial areas vacant

Comments: Please don't build there. It's a beautiful spot that shouldn't be disturbed. There will be added traffic and congestion. Plus, there is a Christmas tree stand there in the winter time.

Comments: Current zoning is to protect those already invested in the community. Issues related to traffic, lighting from this proposal, litter and noise will surely devaluate my property and that of my neighbors. We are a small subdivision but bought here for the rural character of the area. I urge the county to stick to the land use plan and deny this zoning application.

Comments: Shopping Center on Whitlock across from McDonald's at intersection of Manning and Whitlock. There is a huge sign out front advertising availability for an anchor store. Fresh Market developers rejected all the above locations because they "require" that their stores be exactly the way they want them contructed.

Comments: First, I want someone to tell me that they understand the land use plan as well as the concept of nodes. Second, I want them to tell me what a NAC is and the concept of transition or step-down. I would then like to understand how this high-intensity use (at the edge of the node) is aligned with law, precedent, and the land use plan. If you can make that argument with a straight face ...
