Name: John Cissell on May 17, 2008Comments: Current zoning is to protect those already invested in the community. Issues related to traffic, lighting from this proposal, litter and noise will surely devaluate my property and that of my neighbors. We are a small subdivision but bought here for the rural character of the area. I urge the county to stick to the land use plan and deny this zoning application.Flag

There is a huge sign out front advertising availability for an anchor store. Fresh Market developers rejected all the above locations because they "require" that their stores be exactly the way they want them contructed.Flag

Second, I want them to tell me what a NAC is and the concept of transition or step-down. I would then like to understand how this high-intensity use (at the edge of the node) is aligned with law, precedent, and the land use plan. If you can make that argument with a straight face ...Flag

There are so many empty buildings along major roadways, why infect another area with commercial blight when there is none present.Flag
