It is about time that all Australian were informed of the fact that shark neting our beaches is purely a psychological measure to make our visiting tourist population and ourselves feel more comfortable about swimming in an environment which naturally also contains species of sharks. These same "Shark Nets" are trapping many varied species ofDolphins,Turtles and Whales. please add your name to this petition to pressure the Australian Government to remove all Shark Nets from our beaches and to create an educational awareness program to inform the public of the reality of the situation.
