Comments: Please do not let the default in Pelham be hiring a tutor to address Investigations insufficiencies. We pay for public education through our taxes and it should be adequate on its own for the average student.

Comments: I think Investigations Math does our kids a huge disservice in the later years of middle school, high school and beyond.

Comments: It is vital that our students graduate from elementary school with a solid competence in mathematics. Investigations is not the answer and we as a society are losing time as the rest of the world moves their young people--and economies--forward to a solid future of innovation and sustainability. We cannot do it without math. Investigations is not the answer for our district. We are falling behind and our children will bear the brunt of our inaction.

Comments: Math education is far too important to be compromised by this highly ineffective approach. There are some good ideas in it that could be incorporated into a good math program but Investigations is a dismal program and must be scrapped.

Comments: My son loves science. Math is the language of science, but Investigations would leave him years behind his peers by Fifth Grade. We feel compelled to tutor him despite our busy schedules. That should not be necessary in Pelham.

Comments: Investigations Math should be replaced asap. I am in favor of researching other math programs including a best practices survey of our peer/target schools.
