Public access of city streets is common everywhere. We see no reason why Palo Verde Blvd on the south side of Speedway should be blocked and made into a cul-de-sac; blocking access to pedestrians, especially the people living on this particular block and those in the general vicinity. This is being done by Quebedeux Pontiac. For the past three years the people in this neighborhood have either been blocked completely by a fence or have been forced to walk through Quebedeux's car lot (which is what they complain about). Consequently, if they do not want people walking through their lot it should not have been blocked to the public in the first place. We request that the construction of a cul-de-sac be abandoned and public access of this street be available.
