We petition for greater understanding in our diversity, more tolerance of our differences, more enthusiasm for our commonalities, more forgiveness for our foes, more compassion for our destitute, more humility for our achievements.

We petition that our inner peace will spread to our homes, our neighborhoods, our cities and our nations.

We stand united in our resolve to bring peace to the world by inviting peace in our inner world.

We petition for assistance and intervention for the task is too great.

Like drops of rain each act of kindness will flood the earth with peace.
