Do you suffer with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome? (PCOS) I myself was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2010. I was shocked as i thought i was too yound to have something like this. Having only being told a little bit about it by my doctor i decided that when i got home i would research more about it on the internet. But when i looked, all i kept finding were websites for Support and Awareness of this problem based in America. How can people with this problem in the U.K seek the advice and support that they should be receiving in this matter. It annoys me how not many people are aware of this problem, and how many women it actually affects. Some women find out too late, and can suffer with extreme infertility. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common female endocrine disorders affecting approximately 5%-10% of women of reproductive age (12–45 years old) and is thought to be one of the leading causes of female infertility. I really do feel that there just isn't enough support or awareness groups out there for people here in the U.K. If there is, then why are these websites or groups not known about??? I think it is about time that us ladies who suffer from PCOS should fight to get a group open for PCOS sufferers where they can meet and talk, and get as much information as they can in leaflets, and websites ect ect. Please if u are a sufferer like me of this ever growing problem for women all over the world, or even if you know anyone who suffers from it, then PLEASE sign my petition so that i can take this further and make sure something is done about it. Thank you all in advance for your support Vikki Glancy
