We the citizens of Placer County are asking the Board of Supervisors to restructure the reporting of Placer County Animal Services (PCAS), taking the department out from under Environmental Health and Health & Human Services and reassigning the department to report directly to the county CEO

Created to provide an opportunity for local government to hear the voices of its citizens within Placer County on the issues surrounding their animal services center. This petition is sponsored by Friends of Placer County Animal Shelter the non-profit affiliate of Placer County Animal Services. Founded on September 15, 1998 at an open public forum.
