   Comments: I have had $400 taken from my account without my knowledge/authorisation (Nov 07) and am starting to try to fight for it back. It's a worry, but at least my total survival doesnt depend on it - unlike some. The UK must display more about the horrors of paypal misuse.

    Comments: Ebay essentially operates as a 3rd party and as such is exempt currently from the protection laws in place for using Credit Cards. They should be taking the same responsibilities that Banks and cards do

    Comments: Yip...paypal are a pain in the arse...nobody to speak to and they have the power to hold your money whne a customer is trying to screw you over....thus when they hold your money the acount is debited by the amount that is disputed... You email to tell them the problem only for a debtors letter to appear on your door....i dont see then rushing to give my money back after it was all resolved.......Down with payapl....google checkouts is the way forward guys

    Comments: Many problems with paypal as a seller. I've been forced to give a refund without a say. Wasted lots of hours writing emails to paypal. Call centre to customer services is without representatives, only answer machines.

    Comments: very dissatisfied with Paypal's 'customer service' and their 'powers' which do not seem equitable to me. A customer should be free to close their account with Paypal, if they are dissatisfied with the service.
