Name: Malcolm Dodd on Nov 26, 2008Comments: Patrick Jones is pretty mild compared to the Bible; for pure filth read Ezekiel 23. “Oholah lusted after her paramours, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions”, does Nicky Gumbel read this to his congregation If the "good book" had been written today, it would be banned due to its incitement to commit genocide, infanticide, murder and other indecent, criminal acts So, lets call it a day, we (non-militant atheists) won’t try to ban your book if you don’t try to remove Patrick Jones’ right to freedom of expression.Flag

Name: John Riddell on Nov 26, 2008Comments: Religionists like Mr Green do not accept a level playing field, feeling free to say what they like about the rest of us, while not being prepared to accept any comment themselves. Long live freedom of speech!Flag

Name: Sarah Christie on Nov 26, 2008Comments: Religions are simply special interest groups like political parties or environmental groups. They have no right whatsoever to dictate to the rest of society what we may or may not say or hear. I am personally utterly fed up with fanatical religious groups being allowed a voice in public life far, far out of proportion to the numbers of their followers on the entirely spurious grounds that their imaginary friend told them to do it. Stephen Green is a particularly unpleasant specimen of the type and probably needs psychiatric treatment.Flag
