Pass4Kids Fights To Save Our Future And Say NO to HFCS.

Pass4Kids Fights To Save Our Future And Say NO to HFCS. Do the research, find the facts and join the fight against obesity, cancer and diabetes. As a citizen of the great United States of America, I beg our government and the FDA to refuse the request to change the name of High Fructose Corn Syrup to “Corn Sugar”. This is a manipulation of the truth and the people of our country do not deserved to be tricked by this trickery. PASS4kids has started the fight against the big companies to stop putting High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) in our kid’s foods and drinks. Enough is enough and we are making a stand to not let our government change what HFCS is by rewording and thus fooling the general public. There are insurmountable studies and evidence of the health risks related to HFCS, and the government isn’t doing anything about it. HFCS should be BANNED. HFCS continues to be seen as an ingredient in many foods that do not need a sweetener such as bread and vegetables. Not to mention there are healthier alternatives such as raw honey and maple syrup which are whole food sugars and loaded with antioxidants. HFCS has been proven to cause cancer, obesity, diabetes and many other diseases and health problems. Did you know? that from 1970 to 1990 our consumption of HFCS intake has increased over 1,000% which has lead to easily preventable disease like diabetes and obesity, and right now 2 out of every 3 Americans are overweight, and obesity is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, certain types of cancer, and type 2 diabetes? Multiple press releases and articles have been released from USA Today supporting the evidence that HFCS is directly related to many of the nation’s health concerns. Top 5 reasons to sign this petition - In the US children ages 5 to 17 have n obesity rate of 17% out the 70% overweight. - The obesity rate of children age 6 to 11 rose from 6.5% in 1980 to 16.3% in 2002. - A team from the University of California found cancer cells proliferate on fructose, it was found that in cancer fructose is used differently than other sugars. In fact fructose was used to divide and proliferate by the pancreatic tumor cells. - According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 38,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and about 34,000 people die from the disease each year. - In 2007 23.6 million children and adults in the United State had diabetes. Sign the PASS4kids Petitions so we can take it to your state governors and to Capital Hill asking for further research to determine if HFCS and other processed sweeteners should be on the FDA’s approved ingredient list. Many NFL Coaches, Trainers and Athletes have joined the fight with Pass4Kids over the last 8 years to educate the public about HFCS. Energy and Sports drinks are loaded with chemicals that are not good for you and people need to know the truth and what these ingredients really are, poison. Enough is enough so sign up for the fight against cancer, diabetes and obesity and join the NFL & Pass4Kids in saving our future and our planet. Pass4Kids is dedicated to making a change and will fight for all manufacturers to change from HFCS to whole food sugars such as raw honey and maple syrup. Join the fight against HFCS and sign this petition today.

  • Anonymous Studies also show that high fructose corn syrup can be linked to an increase in asthma: http://www.fructositis.org/ .
Further studies on long-term effects of HFCS use need be conducted.

  • Huh? Hug?

  • Emily Foht It's everywhere! Stop the madness. I went to the grocery store to buy bread cubes for Thanksgiving and every manufacturer had HFCS as an ingredient. Why?
