   Comments: i had a tear in my rotator cuff, conventional medicine gave me a choice of surgery(costly, including time away from work), or medication(which left me drowsy and difficult to function at work, then i tried acupuncture and at the FIRST treatment I had FULL RANGE of motion and NO PAIN. I only experienced slight discomfort. after six treatments, i had ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN. i did not miss work, the treatments were inexpensive and i have been pain free for YEARS now! my list of testimonials for alternative goes on and on with a similar story to this.

    Comments: Natural and alternative healthcare has helped me and my animal companions more than any Western prescription drugs. We are happy, healthy and drug-free! And, our healthcare costs are lower with alternative therapies. I should have the right to choose alternative forms of treatment for myself and my animals, or to use Western and alternative treatments together. The choice should be mine alone and not dictated by Western medical doctors, veterinarians and drug companies.

    Comments: I support the Consumer Health Freedom Act, HB-842 and want you to support it too. I have used alternative treatments myself and feel that they need to become legaized in North Carolina so practitioners can practice safely without fear of criminalization.

    Comments: After continuous bouts with ear infections, bronchitis and finally being hospitalized my son greatly benefited from Homeopathy. The only solutions provided by his doctors were an endless variety of antibiotics that made things worse. I know many who have benefited from many types of natural/complimentary care. I personally have benefited from Homeopathy, Accupuncture and Reiki. Please pass this bill.

    Comments: Please support the bill HB842 to give alturnate medicine practioners a chance to practice in NC. They should have to pass some testing to prove they KNOW what they are doing, but we need what they can provide. I use alturnate methods , have for years, I do not see a doctor unless I have a serious problem, like my back injury. I will be 70 in June and am doing well. You have to study & know what you are doing too, but having someone trained in these things will be a real blessing. I would like it to be a choice in insurance as well. Even my animals are happy & healthy using alturnate methods . So please support bill HB 842. Thank you for your time,
