As residents and business owners in the Cremorne, Neutral Bay and Mosman areas, we request that council alter their proposed redevelopment of the Parraween Street car park and early childhood health centre. We request that 1) New building to be only 2 floors (ground + 1 level of apartments) to reduce intrusion of privacy of surrounding residents and to ensure height is in keeping with surrounding buildings 2) A "flat roof" be built on the building 3) There be 3 hours of free parking in the new parking lot 4) There be free unlimited parking on Sundays in the new parking lot 5) 3 levels of underground parking be built in the new parking lot 6) One free parking permit be given to each resident / business owner 7) Emission exhaust stacks from the parking lot be located as far away as possible from Parraween Street 8) Lighting used in the new park is subdued and not pointed into local residential buildings 9) A large number of trees and shade clothes be installed for protection of residents enjoying the park 10) A 24 hour alcohol-free zone be implemented throughout the surrounding streets of the new park 11) Police regularly patrol the new park over weekends and school holidays 12) North Sydney Council graffiti patrols are increases throughout the surrounding streets of the new park 13) Parraween Street road and footpaths be fixed and beautified
