| 502 | Joanne Lediger | Give Jim his life back. After 24 years he has more than paid his debt to society and accepted full responsibility for his actions due to severe mental distress, under doctor's care and guidance he poses no threat whatsoever to the outside world. |
| 503 | Will Mariner | I met Jim Gordon in the seventies. I hope he is given a chance at life outside prison walls. The authorities are wasting a wonderful talent.. |

| 505 | Whitt Vicena | Great Drummer... Deserves a chance.. |
| 506 | Anonymous | With proper care and treatment anyone who suffers from a mind disease should be given the benifit of the doubt and at least the chance to make good the mistake he has made. The remorse I'm sure he must feel is greater than any prison cell could be. |
| 507 | Mike Totaro | Jim's music lives with us every single day. I'm sure he has so much more music in him to share with his fans and fellow musicians. Please set Jim Gordon free! |
| 508 | Tom Cucchiara | Please release Jim Gordon. His debt to society has been paid. |
| 509 | Timo Kaarnioja | |
| 510 | Martin Andersen | He deserves his freedom. All this could have been avoided if he had been diagnosed properly in the late seventies. Jim is a true craftsman in music, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him.

| 511 | Anonymous | Jim has been a light for me. This man has played on some of the most timeless music to ever been recorded in the past 35-40 years! |
| 512 | Kenneth Zukin | He's been incarcerated long enough. |
| 513 | David Crigger | |
| 514 | Geert GEKIERE | |
| 515 | Ralph Power | Above says it all. |
| 516 | Matthew Martini | Jim Gordon poses no threat. Let the man out. He has been punished enough. He gave the world much beauty--much more than just about anyone in the world. Give the man his medications and let him be free. He will be fine. The world would love to hear from him. |

| 518 | Anonymous | Jim Gordon Is a valuable asset to the arts & society |
| 519 | Anonymous | He played on some of the most important records in the history of rock music. He deserves a chance to be free. |

| 522 | Kerry | No one wants to release someone who will continue to hurt others and work against society. It seems to me that Jim was killed due to "voices in his head" caused by mental illness, and drug use. He has to be a completely different person today than he was 24 yrs ago. Let him have what is left of his life back if he is no threat to society. The gift he has given to the world through his music can never be repaid by the world; the least we can do is to parole him now and let him repair & rebuild what life he has left. Think of the taxpayers, we don't need someone locked up who doesn't pose a threat to society. |
| 523 | Anonymous | More cowbell??? We need Jim's drums - and Jim behind them - let's hear some GOOD music for a change!!! |

| 525 | Anonymous | Parole for "Lightning Jim"!
I have his American flag that I received from a friend called "Bo". I treasure it. |
| 526 | Jim Gordon | I am one of the "other" Jim Gordon...not a drummer...am a singer/songwriter from Ireland, living in Norway...

I honestly thought they had released you a few years back. Good luck with the hearing.

| 527 | Anonymous | Please let Jim out! |
| 528 | Deena Plaster | PLEASE RELEASE JIM GORDON, HE IS THE GREATEST DRUMMER THERE EVER WAS AND IS.
THANK YOU,
DEENA PLASTER |
| 529 | Michael Hurwitz | Jim has served his debt. With his doctors blessings, please let him return to society. |
| 530 | Rob Geurtsen | Please board members.
A man that at the time was certified mentally ill deserve to be assessed again by medical experts and then reconsider the number of years he has been in prison, his behavior in the institutions and whether he is still a risk to society or not anymore.
The punishment was severe and surely will have fulfilled its purpose.
Or do you really think he needs to stay in for so many extra years. |

| 532 | Linda Wolf | Jim gave me my first camera on the Joe Cocker Tour, Jim you gave me something so important to my life...We went to the same high school, Jim, and I knew you as a loving, generous man. Thank you for what you did for me. I wish for you that the past is the past and that you can go on with a life worth living, sharing yourself in the world -- all you've known and all you have to give. We are all forgiven... love you, linda |

| 535 | Aaron Stone | Its time for true justice, if jim had been on the proper meds that horrible event would never have happened. I will keep my fingers crossed for your freedom. |
| 536 | Ronnie Halfacre Tellerman | This is a man that contributed so much...and mental illness - is not a crime - its a tragedy. I lost my eldest son to the same disease! |
| 537 | Luis Sancho | I would think that medicine for mental illnesses has progressed a lot in these 24 years. Because of another mental illness we also lost Jaco Pastorius. Jaco cannot be helped now, but Jim Gordon can, help him return and not fade away. Thanks. |
| 538 | henry minkoff | |
| 539 | John C. Morgan | Be free Jim! |
| 540 | John O.Reilly | It is time to let this man be free. Please find it in your hearts and souls, to have him come back to us. |
| 541 | D. Johnson | Not being aware of Mr. Gordon's condition, I can only state that if he is deemed no longer a threat to anyone, it seems just that he be granted a release from the California State Penal System. Please consider that if he has been found to follow his doctor's orders and has acted appropriately over the last two decades, it would be reasonable to conclude he would continue these practices as a freed man. |

| 543 | Stephen Fowler | Jim has paid his debt to society. It is time to let him come home and live out his years with thsoe who love him and appreciate his work. |
| 544 | Kerry Turner | My gut tells me this guy will be okay. Let those lazy state employees take a risk on an old fart to make room for some 25 year old who is known to be dangerous. I know there are hundreds or even thousands of scarier people in every major city. This is a moral thing about motherhood and revenge against a "mother-killer" who has probably punished himself more than the prison could. I've got nothing against mothers. I have one myself and love her immensely. She understands my demons, and perhaps Jim's mom understood his demons. Do you really think Jim's mother wouldn't sign this petition if she were still alive, in spite of what Jim did to her? |
