The Homeowners Association (HOA) of Parkway Trails is not maintaining the vegetated rainwater runoff detention pond. The detention pond is not being cleaned and mowed on a regular basis. Trees and high weeds block drainage culverts potentially putting homes in Parkway Trails and nearby subdivisions in Stafford, Texas at risk for flooding, health risks and brush fires. There's also a noticeable increase in reptile activity. With the recent October 2013 rains, the overgrown vegetation and nearly blocked drainage culverts caused the detention pond to fill up with water faster than usual.
