State Road ______ was scheduled for resurfacing since 2006 per GLF General Manager, Dave King, and at the present time, the street is broken up in many areas with pot holes. The residences of this street feel that our county real estate taxes are some of the highest in the Hampton Roads area and we,the residences, are requesting that James City County Commissioners and the Virginia Department of Transportation take immediate action to resurface this street this spring 2011. Some residences here since the original street construction (one of the first in GLF) say that the street has never been resurfaced with only minor repairs over the years. Streets in this condition are depressing and are not an asset for Home Sales as long as the condition exists and reduces the resale value of our homes.
