A park for our children

We want to start off by saying thank you for your time. We want people to understand how important it is to us to have a park in the neighborhood. Our community is growing very rapidly, and our children have no place to play. There aren't any parks in our area. This is going to force our children to play in the streets.The traffic has picked up a lot since the new houses have been built. Our main concern is to keep our children safe. How can we do that if there is no safe place to play? The closest park to us is 0.9 miles away, the next closest is 2.1 miles away.
