Marcy Park was named a long time ago for its connection to Marcy Elementary School. The school has not been in existence for quite some time and the local area residents would like to re-name the park to more accurately reflect the beautiful character of the park. The signatures on this petition urge the City and the Standley Park Rec Council to approve changing the name of the park located on Stresemann Street in San Diego, CA 92122 from Marcy Park to either CANYON BREEZE PARK, CANYON RIM PARK or BREEZY PARK.
