As construction at the University increases, the availibility of parking decreases but yet the parking fees incease every year. Not only do staff and students have to compete every day to make it to the University due traffic conjestion, once they arrive there are no spots to be found close to work and classes. In inclement weather, the parking lots are not adequately cleared to allow for maximum parking or safe walking to the buildings. New buildings are designed without parking being integrated into the plans. The remote lots are not monitored for safety of vehicles and individuals. In summary, we are all extremely concerned that Parking Services are not assessing the location and amount of parking needed by the University's faculty, staff, students and clients.
