Name: Brenda Montgomery on Feb 26, 2008Comments: I agree with the above petition, something needs to be done. Closing the garage down at 7:30am, when it snows is ridiculous. The majority of the courthouse staff come in between 7-8am., it is not fair for the employees of the county to not be able to access the garage to come to work, espically someone that has a handicap sign. What are they supposed to doFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 26, 2008Comments: I think it is a shame that we even have to pay for parking and try and find somewhere to park. There is not alot of parking available for employees. I think the garage should be for employees only and free.Flag

Name: Nancy Allred on Feb 26, 2008Comments: County workers are underpaid as it is and most of us cannot afford parking at the current prices. If it is raised more of us will be forced to ride the bus, or again cut somehing needed from our household.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 26, 2008Comments: As one of the county employees who park at the attached courthouse garage I really protest the parking increase rumored to come. In especially inclement weather, for those with disabilities employeed here, and other reasons I believe it to be unfair to raise the rates due to the increasing lack of space available to park downtown by the courthouse. It has to be extremely difficult for those coming to court to find parking even at the meters, which by the way have been increasingly dwindling downtown. Please do not increase the rates.Flag

"The county should maintain the current price of $5.00 and "not" increase it to $7.00." And too present their employees more monthly parking passes for better access to the garages. Thank you for your much needed time on this matter, Joyce.Flag

Name: Kimberly Yoli on Feb 26, 2008Comments: It's a shame you can't even get a parking pass for 12 stinking years because of favors that are handed out but now you want us to pay entirely too much money to come work in a facility that can't even clean the urine out of the stairwells! Oh, that is if you can get in to the facility because it is full by 7:20am. Enough Said!Flag
