I have been staring at the draft for the letter to the board for hours and honestly the silence from the district office is louder than any response could be at this point. People keep messaging me with their own stories about being ignored during these meetings and it just reinforces that we cannot let them rush this process without a proper committee in place.

I honestly never expected the momentum to hit this hard when I started typing this up at my kitchen table during a total lull in the conversation. It feels like people are finally waking up to the fact that we really do need a seat at the table so I am honestly just floored by all the energy right now.

Totally agree. We need more transparency from the district. This feels like they are hiding something.
We need that committee immediately. Decisions like this effect everyone in the district and we need to be heard.
The board needs to slow down. Why is there such a massive rush to shove this through? Listen to the community before making permanent changes.
Exactly. Where is the due process? Seems like they just want to do whatever they want regardless of what parents actually think.
Been watching this play out and it is honestly frustrating. Kids arent just numbers on a spreadsheet. Slow down and do this right.

Stop rushing these huge decisions without asking us first. My kids are the ones affected by this configuration change and we deserve a seat at the table.
